![]() ![]() While the Shadowfell is described as being pretty desolate, there are still a number of things that exist in this plane. There may be a pond in the same place as the material plane, but the one in the Shadowfell may be filled with tar or ichor. Where geography exists in the material plane, it exists too in the Shadowfell, however, it is always twisted in some way. The plane itself is devoid of colors and made up of mostly hostile life. You see, the Shadowfell is a cold plane, and not just temperature-wise. ![]() Well more like a dark reflection if I’m going to go with that analogy. So try and keep your emotions in check as we dive into today’s post! What is the Shadowfell?Īs I mentioned at the start of the post, the Shadowfell is a reflection of the prime material plane. First I’ll go over the general vibe of the plane, then I’ll cover locations of note within the plane and finally any inhabitants it may have. Okay, now that we’ve got that out of the way, in today’s post, DnD 5e Shadowfell Explained, I’ll be attempting to explain this desolate land, the negative mirror of the material plane. Never fear though! I will aim to always post the main article at least once a week.
